Saikat Basu is the Chief Sales Officer – Paper Business at Orient Paper & Industries Ltd. He is responsible for the performance of the business development teams, revenue targets and profitability of the company.

Saikat has 27 years of experience in B2B and B2C sales & marketing. He has worked in various industries such as paper, industrial minerals, building materials, civil construction and transmission lines.

Saikat joined Orient Paper in July 2022 and plays a pivotal role in increasing sales, understanding the changing market needs, promoting products effectively, and maintaining a strong brand presence.

Saikat holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He also has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.

Saikat enjoys swimming, travelling, and singing as pursuits beyond work.
