Chandrashekhar Shantaram Kashikar is the Chief Operating Officer at Orient Paper & Industries Ltd. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational and administrative functions of the company. He leads the execution of strategies in line with the company’s objectives.

Chandrashekhar has more than 28 years of experience in large, integrated, pulp, paper, board and tissue manufacturing operations.

He joined Orient Paper in August 2021 and is instrumental in implementing various process technologies and projects for improvements in overall operations. He facilitates innovation through AI-driven, closed-loop manufacturing, automation, and digitisation to enhance operational efficiency and redefine product offerings.

Prior to Orient Paper, Chandrashekhar held senior leadership roles in leading organisations such as Bilt Graphic Paper Products Limited, Ballapur Industries Limited and West Coast Paper Mills Limited.

Chandrashekhar holds a PhD in Pulp & Paper from Nagpur University.

He is passionate about challenging the status quo. He also enjoys spending time in nature.
